Good morning everyone.

I have an exterior lighting setup in my roof overhang consisting of 10 recessed spotlights with GU10 sockets and LED bulbs. This lighting is controlled by a single-pole switch. Since I’m often only home when it’s already dark, especially in winter, I would like to replace this switch with a timer switch.

There is a slight complication because the switch is part of a triple switch combination, and it should still look neat after the replacement. So, I will also need an adaptor to fit it into the Berker series. I am familiar with timer switches for roller shutters because I have those installed, but do simple timer switches exist for basic on/off lighting?

Yes, it exists, I just installed it recently. In my case, it is in a single-gang box, so I wasn’t limited to a particular product line.

Just check with the manufacturer to see if they have something suitable.

Otherwise, feel free to send me a private message, and I can share the link to mine.

hmm, isn't this usually done using a contactor with a timer in the distribution board?
