We had the electrician run power for outdoor cameras. The flush-mounted boxes now protrude several centimeters (inches) beyond the plaster. Is this normal? How is an outdoor camera or a cover supposed to be attached without it looking really awkward? What do you think? What does the electrician say about it?W

What should be installed if you want to run network cables there? Are those simply flush-mounted boxes? The answers are probably as diverse as the scenarios. We can see a plastered facade, but we don’t know if it’s an external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS). The network could be Power over Ethernet (PoE) or have a separate power supply. We don’t know the weight and wind load of the cameras either – this affects whether the boxes are just cable junction boxes or if they should also serve as mounting brackets.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/
