we are building our house next year.
However, I am already thinking about the best place to position the couch and the TV.
The floor-to-ceiling windows connect to the garden, so we prefer not to block them.
One idea is to mount the TV (65 inch) on a wall bracket between the floor-to-ceiling windows.
What do you think about that (this would be on the north side)? I find it hard to imagine the TV hanging in the middle of the room. Maybe some of you have seen something like this? Do you possibly have other ideas? I don’t think there are many alternatives.
Best regards
Tobi

This is somewhat a matter of priorities, but I would never place the TV so off-center. That significantly impacts the viewing experience and especially the sound quality. However, I understand that this might not be as important to everyone.
I would also consider a fundamental zoning change, for example swapping the kitchen and the seating area.
Yes, the overall floor plan and site plan are needed here.
Otherwise, if everything is fixed, you could still think about adding a drywall partition between the dining and living areas. However, I would completely remove the second door leading into the living space.
