TatzeHello, 🙂
We are planning floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor with a height of about 160cm (63 inches). The knee wall height is approximately 190cm (75 inches). The roller shutter box will be installed between the window and the knee wall.
Now to my question:
For floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor, fall protection must be provided. Since we do not want French balconies, we plan to install the lower part of the window as fixed, so that only the upper part can be opened.
Could someone tell me how high the fixed part of the window needs to be? I have already read so many different figures. 🙄
By the way, we are building in Lower Saxony, just in case this information is important to answer the question.
Thanks and regards
Tatze
