Hello everyone, the screed will be installed in our house next week. Since we are a bit behind schedule, we would like to start plastering, then flooring, and painting earlier than the usual 6 weeks.
My question is whether this is even possible.
We have an air-to-air heat pump, which should definitely help with the drying process. Additionally, three dehumidifiers will be set up.

What do you think?
From when would it be possible?
Does it depend on screed measurements?

Unfortunately, I don’t know what type of screed is being used. I only know that the building has three floors and that the screed thickness is 15cm (6 inches) on the lower floor and 12cm (5 inches) on the upper floor.
Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

PS: Get a painter to help you out. You keep working and focus on the less critical tasks or rooms. Otherwise, progress will be frustratingly slow. Every day, I’m amazed at how much faster the professional is compared to me! And financially, it’s reasonable too, as the expert can concentrate on the essential work. 😉

Plastering and painting work is done by a painter. My experience and construction are comparable to Germany and vaccination speed. So it doesn’t really match...
