ᐅ Floor Plan of a Narrow, Rectangular L-Shaped House on a Triangular Plot with an Oak Tree

Hello everyone!

We have purchased a triangular plot of land. As if that weren’t complicated enough, there is also a large oak tree that must be considered during the planning. In our initial considerations, it quickly became clear that the floor plan will have an L-shape.

Does anyone here have experience with this type of plot and a correspondingly shaped floor plan? What additional information is needed to get meaningful advice?

Best regards

Try searching for "shotgun house" on Google, something like that might work.

You need an architect experienced with narrow houses in inner-city areas.

Thank you very much.

Now I am even more stressed out.

I believe you.
I don’t know your budget.
It won’t be easy
and probably won’t be cheap.
I can’t find it anymore, but there was a report where the architect didn’t use conventional building materials so the walls could be thinner.

Of course, you need to measure the tree where it stands. Based on the triangle with the 35-meter (115-foot) line, it is now an estimate of how much remains to the east of the tree.

OK, before we start rebuilding you again from tomorrow, here are two things for you:
- Are you familiar with the "trail"?
- Do you know what is planned north of the "trail"?
