Hello everyone,
We have finally received our initial preliminary drawings and are currently reviewing them in detail. Overall, everything fits our needs so far, except for the kitchen.
As shown on the plan, we are currently quite unhappy with it – in my opinion, there is very little space for tall cabinets, and the distance from one side to the other is quite long. The location of the stove on the plan also doesn’t make sense. The problem is that right now, we don’t have a complete wall without any interruptions.
At the moment, we are considering whether to
1) remove the door from the hallway to the kitchen
2) move the door all the way to the left or right
3) omit (reluctantly) or at least reduce or shift a window
4) make the opening to the living room smaller (a sliding door is planned there)
My dream would actually be to have a small bar counter with 1-2 seats. However, I find it hard to imagine this fitting into the current floor plan.
Do you perhaps have some ideas or tips for us? Also happy to hear feedback on the rest of the ground floor.
Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,
thank you for all the opinions.
I roughly recreated the room in a 3D planner and came to the conclusion that the "left" window definitely needs to be smaller; otherwise, there is no flexibility. At the moment, we are leaning towards slightly reducing the passage to the living room and also the left window. The door to the hallway will either be designed as a sliding door or an open passage — in any case, so that no door swings into the kitchen.
I have attached the remaining plans again and would appreciate your opinions on them as well. Maybe you will consider something we have completely overlooked. Thanks in advance.
@tomtom79 The plot has a slight slope. I think the stairs will become clear with the other plans 🙂
