Hello everyone,
we would like to get your feedback on the attached floor plan. Our goal is to create a bright, open, and spacious feeling.
The main entrance is planned from the east. There is also an entrance from the double garage through the utility room.
The north side is where the staircase is located. The black square in the living room represents a double-sided fireplace built into a wall (room divider).
We look forward to your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions for improvement :-)

Because those are two different topics.Unfortunately, they are not two separate topics. The plot / site plan is inevitably linked to the floor plan. There are also some relevant questions in the questionnaire.
How do you feel about your floor plan?
What do you like? What bothers you? This helps to know where to start.
I would consider separating the hallway area, which is intended as a cloakroom, and turning it into a dedicated wardrobe room. I find your utility room too small and don’t see enough storage options elsewhere.
Upstairs, I would try to access the private rooms through the dressing room.

Are those windows from the kitchen into the hallway? That could be a really nice idea.
Some thoughts:
A space feels spacious when you can place a sofa freely. Setting up a seating area in a large room often leads to an uncomfortable experience due to too much circulation space.
Judging by the stair steps, the ceiling height seems too low relative to the floor area. This quickly creates an oppressive effect on a large surface, and the feeling of spaciousness is lost.
I’m not sure why the dining table is angled—if it has to be, then the angle of the room divider should be adjusted accordingly.
The staircase solution fits the upper floor but feels a bit out of place downstairs.
A spacious feeling does not automatically come from having a large floor area.

And the angled position of the table turns the terrace access into a real bottleneck.
The kitchen is actually quite large, but the proposed kitchen layout feels like a fight in a boxing ring.
And yes, the site plan and questionnaire are definitely important. Because we can’t read your mind, and those two documents provide many essential details that are important for evaluating the floor plan.
