Hello,
I have two floor plans for our house. Both are 10 x 11 m (33 x 36 ft). Which one do you think is better?

The top side is always south. The window placement is not finalized and can still be adjusted.
Here is option B:

Some furniture is already included. I highly recommend this for anyone who doesn’t want to start completely from scratch.
The budget does not allow for any expansion, but if you have any ideas, feel free to share. 🙂

Good luck!

Clearly number 2; the first design is very convoluted and has huge hallways.

But I can’t say whether the floor plan is any good.

I prefer the first option. Although I usually favor straight or quarter-turn staircases rather than small half-turn ones, I like the layout of the first option better. It seems more clearly structured to me. True, there is no pantry. How do you plan to address that? Upstairs, the parents’ and children’s areas are separated by the hallway—not directly next to each other—which is definitely better. And the room sizes are really sufficient! Ultimately, though, you’ll have to decide which option works best for you.

The pantry is unfortunately missing in floor plan A. That’s correct. However, the utility room is practically right next to the kitchen. Bottles and canned goods will still need to fit in there. Laundry is located separately upstairs.

Is there a basement, or is the utility room used as a technical room? Then it might not be ideal as a pantry, right?! But the experts should decide that.

There is no basement. In the utility room, there is only the ground source heat pump. Hopefully, there are no exhaust gases or anything similar present there.
