Here is our floor plan. Maybe someone still has a few useful tips for us... We would really appreciate it.
It is a semi-detached house in the Bauhaus style...

The bedroom is interesting.
If one of your children is in the bathroom in the morning, you are locked in the bedroom.
Even worse if they forget to open the second door and have already left the house.
Additionally, it resembles a conservatory.
The square meter (square foot) measurements of the walk-in closet do not match.
Is the entrance door outward-opening?
There is too much circulation space on the upper floor.
Interior doors are inconvenient.
There is nothing to say about the rest due to the lack of furniture.

Maybe someone still has a few useful tips on this... Yes, just file it in the round file. Nothing is working here at all.
Sorry for my bluntness, but at this point no tips will help. It would go beyond the scope of this forum. A complete redesign is necessary.

The bathroom on the upper floor is really cool. As a child, I would always lock the door.
At least I managed to smile a little.

Hello Francis,
I have to agree with the others that the floor plan will not work as planned. As a rough sketch of your wishes, it is okay for now, but when looking at the floor plan in detail, it reveals many problems and errors, and some important essentials are not considered in your layout. Especially since this is not meant to be a standard house, a good architect is essential. Because many aspects are close to boundary limits, various factors of structural engineering and building physics significantly influence the design.
For example:
- The upper left corner of the living room on the ground floor has a ceiling unsupported along one wall for about 5m (16 feet). A strong main beam will be needed to limit deflection. Since the upper floor overhangs, this will also be challenging.
- You have almost no space for closets, and the study room is too small to truly function as one.
- The door to the walk-in closet is located within a load-bearing wall.
- The bathroom on the upper floor has no window.
- The children's rooms will probably be quite dark.
- The stairs do not align properly.
- And so on....

Bratac
