Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my current floor plan here.
Currently still being modified:
- Kitchen area (pantry will be removed)
- Corner windows will be removed
- Carport will be removed

The plot is slightly sloped, see the elevations.
There is no building permit / planning permission because it is in an old residential area.

You won’t save 50,000 euros just by cutting a few centimeters here and there. To achieve that, you’d rather have to change the plot of land or reconsider the desire for three floors.

Even with supposed prior experience, self-managing the project seems reckless. At this price level, it will be challenging to find a bank willing to support this.

50 thousand is already quite a significant amount. I don’t see that easily saved anywhere. On the contrary, I’m worried that there might even be additional costs here and there.

We saved about 10,000 because we did all the electrical work ourselves. My husband is an electrician. But apart from that? Where else can you really save?
This is not a small house. It’s three floors on a slope! Wow.

That only works if you cut out one floor. I would try that anyway. More space but one less floor. All that stair climbing gets annoying.
