Hello everyone,
We have been struggling for several days to figure out how to divide the basement into a children’s room, a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a small bathroom with a shower. We are running out of ideas. Unfortunately, there is no more space available for this in the rest of the house. Do you have any helpful suggestions for a floor plan like this? The wall between Basement 1 and Basement 2 is load-bearing. We would appreciate any help and advice.

And what about the ground floor? I assume you are remodeling. Your call for help sounds like you suddenly have two rooms and a bathroom less in the middle of the renovation. A bit more information would be helpful. My idea with the windowless bathroom and the small window only in the master bedroom is just an emergency solution. It can only look good if more changes are possible. Are the rooms even suitable/approved for living spaces?

But the door in the basement can become a window wall.Show us everything.. Townhouse? Detached house? Where will the terrace be located on the ground floor? All of this is important.. here we’re talking about the floor plan, which supports both the ground floor and the upper floor, and the ground floor defines the character.
