Hello everyone,
So far, I have discussed my topics in the thread "Procedure for Single-Family House New Build on an Existing Plot."
At your request, I have now created a new thread to show you a draft floor plan.
I would appreciate it if you could share with me any observations you have. We have an upcoming appointment where we want to provide the architect with our comments, change requests, etc.
Thank you very much and best regards

Thank you for your support since the planning phase, it was worth it 🙂I agree. This forum discussion has really helped create a very nice hillside house.
May I ask how much the house ended up costing?

Dachshund9014 Mar 2025 10:45Hello Hanghaus,
My Excel list isn’t fully up to date, but roughly:
530,000 including kitchen, furniture (mostly purchased), photovoltaic system, additional construction costs.
Still missing: exterior plaster, garage/carport, landscaping.
The plot was already paid for, so I didn’t include it. Overall, we are very satisfied and close to our budget plan.
Regards

hanghaus202314 Mar 2025 12:08Thank you. Are the exterior plaster, garage/carport, and landscaping included in the 510k?

Dachshund9014 Mar 2025 13:08Exterior plastering should still be included, but garage/carport and landscaping are not.
Which items are usually calculated per €/m²? The living area would be about 193m² (2080 sq ft) plus 20m² (215 sq ft) of utility space.

hanghaus202314 Mar 2025 14:48193m2 (2071 sq ft) * 3000 Euro/m2 (278 USD/sq ft) equals 579,000 Euro (539,000 USD). So you are below that.
510,000 Euro (475,000 USD) / 193m2 (2071 sq ft) = 2640 Euro/m2 (245 USD/sq ft). Did you do a lot of work yourselves?
