Hello dear community,

I would really like to hear your opinions on our floor plan design. We have been refining it for quite some time. It is very important for us to have plenty of natural light, a large open living and dining area, a study, equally sized children’s rooms, and a separate area for us (bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom). For this reason, we are also considering replacing the bathroom door leading to the hallway with a door towards the bedroom. It is important to know that to the west there are only fields and forests that will not be developed in the future. I am happy to provide more information if you would like.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards, Lukas

The terrace is shown facing west in every post.

That may be true, but west is not always in the same direction 😉.

In post 7 ... first graphic

West should be at the top of the plan, at least according to the north arrow.

Then immediately following

with the overlaid drawing of the house and the terrace corner ... one assumes it is in the northeast ... because you might think this drawing only refers to 88/2 and is aligned similarly to the previous drawing.

Then the next image ... again a different orientation, this time north at the top, but you can just barely tell due to a somewhat clear north arrow.

Next comes this ... again without a north arrow

And then again this ... here you have to look carefully, and you can see ... now everything in the illustration is rotated again.

… Either all images are in a consistent orientation, e.g., west always at the top of the plan … ideally with north always at the top. And if that’s not possible, then at least include a north arrow.

Do you now see what I mean by polite and clear? 😉
