Hello,
we need help with bathroom planning. We have already had three appointments but are still not satisfied with the layout. Do you have any ideas?
It is important to us to have enough space near the sink for additional cabinets.
We like the first version quite well, but the toilet is located right next to the door. We don’t find that very suitable.

I would be surprised if this wasn’t possible. Of course, it involves additional costs, which is understandable.

The architect may be planning nonsense, but I don’t have to accept it as is.I would doubt that an architect was involved at all.
How often do people here actually come with plans they have thoroughly checked?

It’s hardly possible to submit a building permit/planning permission application with a bathroom shown as just an empty space containing only the soil pipes, even if the homeowners plan to do the interior layout themselves. That’s how you end up with something like an "undefined shower door."
By the way, I drive the red Opel more often than the black E-Class 🙂 That’s exactly right. We first had to include something in the plans. Regarding the interior layout, the plumbing supplier was then consulted.

This layout actually comes from the architect. We told her that we didn’t like it. But first, we needed something drawn up so the project could move forward. Then she said she plans the pipes generously, so we still have flexibility in the design when working with the plumbing supplier. You are as free as the space allows, considering doors, windows, and sloping ceilings.
What objections do you have to the design submitted with the building permit / planning permission?

, she plans the pipes generously so that we still have freedom in the design with the plumbing wholesaler.Three downpipes are not generous but extremely expensive and therefore poorly planned. I hope the detailed planning is better.
