Hello,
We are currently planning the following floor plan, and I am not sure if it all makes sense or if some elements might be problematic or simply do not fit well together in reality.
I am open to any advice and ideas and would be grateful for your input.
Note:
The house requires a waterproof concrete shell (white bathtub); the plot is flat. The eaves height is 4.25 meters (14 feet).
Thank you very much and best regards

Note:
- The toilet will be taken out of the sloped ceiling area (the bathroom still needs to be organized)
- The dressing room still needs to be worked out.
- Glazing will be adjusted and mostly added.

Why is the window so low on the east side?
The basement is fine.
What kind of staircase is that? (Rise)
Unclear if the bathroom drainage through the kitchen will cause problems.
Reconsider the mezzanine – you’re losing about half a meter (around 20 inches) there, and the roof will shift, right?
Don’t underestimate noise transfer through the gallery... I’d think carefully about leaving it open at the bottom. Try an experiment: put a TV in front of the kids’ room and see what you can still hear inside.
People can look into your bedroom from the street, right? Not sure if I would like that.
I would question the north-facing child's room as well. Maybe swap things around. Put child's room 2 where the bathroom is now (move the wall so both kids’ rooms are equal size), move the bedroom to where child’s room 2 is, keep the dressing room where it is, and move the bathroom to where the bedroom was.
That’s already an extremely large dining and living area (furnishing shows this) – including the kitchen, it’s 74 m² (about 800 sq ft)... a bit excessive in my opinion... but ok, if you have enough budget.
That’s it, good luck!Which window do you mean is low? The bedroom window? The staircase will be a half-turn stair that we have already tested with the measurements. We both dislike spiral stairs – they take too long. The roof should stay as it is. What adds more floor space will be finished above the roof or we will wait to see what the architect delivers.
Bedroom – that’s my wife’s stubbornness; she wants all the windows to be floor-to-ceiling. She really wants to be able to look outside from the bed and prefers no sloped ceilings in the bedroom.

Bedroom – ...
She absolutely wants to be able to look outside from the bed and no sloping ceilings in the bedroom.Because you do it for several minutes every day ...
Please write and let me know if the ritual is still maintained after doing it 3 times with enjoyment.
