The current draft was created based on various show homes and manufacturer catalogs. What I liked well in the show homes has been incorporated into the floor plan. For example, the bathroom design in a T-shape; shower and toilet are hidden left and right behind the T. Unfortunately, my current drawing tool does not allow furnishing. I have to print the plans and add furniture layouts by hand. A furnished floor plan will follow.

I think the floor plan shows the intended rooms and the desired space requirements.

I hope this now provides a better working basis!

I’m just not quite sure how to get from working through everything to the desired floor plan...

As counterintuitive as it may sound, the shortest way is to create some distance first. That means during the phases of your internal reflection, you should put away the catalogs for about three to four weeks (just deciding not to touch them is not enough; the physical act of putting them away is part of the process).

or should I just give up

At this stage, yes, it’s best to pause.

A bit better, but it would be even better to add this to post 1 of this thread (if it’s still possible, which should be the case recently), so it can be found more quickly.

Also, a site plan of the property is missing, preferably oriented to true north and including some measurements.

The thread is slowly getting interesting. What does the plot of land look like? A site plan would be really helpful. 350,000 to 400,000 – with a basement, that might be tight. Do you really need it? What will you put in there?

The specifications were probably filtered through several layers of approval.

This would suggest the possibility of three full stories (?). Do both figures apply to the same building plot?
