How do you actually clean the drain of a shower like this? So far, I only know shower trays where you can place a strainer in the drain for hair, etc. How does it work with a channel drain? My wife could give more details. Fortunately, she has handled the cleaning so far.
In general, I can say that the tile insert needs to be lifted out, and then the drain channel can be removed using a kind of "lever" (a pin—I can't recall the exact term right now). So far, I haven’t had to get involved much further.

In general, the tile insert needs to be lifted out, and then you can remove the drain channel using a "lever" (a pin – I can’t recall the exact term right now). So far, I haven’t needed to get involved any further. In our drain, there is a standard hair strainer placed underneath the cover. Otherwise, there is no underfloor heating installed within the shower area itself, only in the rest of the bathroom. Nevertheless, it still gets warm. The reason is the floor construction, which did not provide enough overall “height” for both underfloor heating and the slope required for the shower drain...

By the way, it’s always my husband who does it because I have long hair.
So, as @klblb says, waterproofing is ensured by prior sealing done by the tiler. The waterproofing was done in all wet areas for us — including the platforms around the bathtub.
Naively, I imagine it doesn’t matter whether underfloor heating was installed or not. There shouldn’t be any difference in the procedure...
We have this kind of shower and underfloor heating installed there as well: drying off quickly is guaranteed.
Best regards, Yvonne

We have a walk-in shower tray that is flush with the floor and matches the tiles in a similar color.
There is no underfloor heating beneath the shower tray holder, but the shower area still dries relatively quickly.
In addition to the underfloor heating, a towel radiator has been installed, as our bathroom is not very large.
Regarding professional waterproofing:
Our tiler did a really good job and provided thorough advice in advance.
For added assurance, the tiler called in our site manager immediately after waterproofing the bathrooms and promptly carried out several corrections as requested.
