Andreas6924 Mar 2024 11:59Hello,
while chiseling/drilling the opening for a floor socket, I hit the underfloor heating pipe. Fortunately, I didn’t puncture or fully drill into the pipe, but only made a dent about 1mm (0.04 inches) deep with the hammer drill. No water is leaking, and the heating system is currently turned off.
It is a low-temperature system (heat pump) and the installed pipe is a multilayer composite pipe made of PE.
My installer will check it in two days, but I would like a second opinion before I continue chiseling the floor or decide to leave it as is.

Best regards
Andreas
