Hello,
I am currently renovating my bathroom and came across the alternative of using dry screed.
My original plan was to reuse or supplement the lightweight aggregate filling I still have.
At that time, these beads with a diameter of about 0.5 - 1 cm (0.2 - 0.4 inches) were used as the filling. I have a fairly large fill depth of 20 cm (8 inches)!
Now to the question: Can I lay Fermacell dry screed panels on top of these lightweight clay beads? The floor covering is planned to be finished with 60 x 30 cm (24 x 12 inches) tiles.
Thanks for your tips.
