ᐅ Feedback on the Ikea Kitchen

Hello everyone,
things are moving forward for us now. After visiting quite a few kitchen outlets in the past, we finally decided on IKEA. Mainly because it’s affordable – secondly, because the kitchen salespeople were almost driving me crazy in the end (a $1000 discount because the sun is shining…). IKEA doesn’t offer any consultation at all… not great either, but still better than that.
We were somewhat fixed on the layout because of the windows… now we are even more set because of the utility connections… The screed is already in place.
The cabinet fronts are Hyttan and Bodbyn – we will buy the appliances separately.
We thought the waste bin should be a pull-out unit under the sink.
A quick note about the tall cabinet row (since it’s not that visible) on the left side of the plan:
60cm (24 inches) cabinet, oven, 60cm (24 inches) cabinet, refrigerator, small freezer.

We would love to hear your opinion. Are there any things we absolutely should change? Since neither of us really has a sense for design, we would appreciate any tips or comments on that as well.
Thanks and best regards

@Kisska86 ... an elevated dishwasher is always a DIY project at IKEA. Also, the tall cabinet wall might be a bit far from the sink wall here. And, as far as I understand, the water connections are already installed.

The information about the connections is (unfortunately / fortunately) correct – today we will go to a furniture store again to see what options are available.

Does anyone know what kind of lead time we should expect at Ikea? That is, how long it takes from purchase to delivery? Our building is currently being heated to dry – the plan is for everything to be finished by the end of January.

The last kitchen I bought from Ikea I was able to take with me immediately.

The huge advantage with Ikea: immediate availability. However, this does not apply to custom-made countertops. You can take the rest with you and start assembling right away. If necessary, create a temporary solution for the countertop.

Never ordered a kitchen from Ikea? I find that hard to believe. For our utility room, we have a 2.40-meter (7 ft 10 in) furniture run, and we went there about three times for that, plus two more trips for the handles. They were back in stock after two months. You also can’t rely on the online availability. Ordering isn’t foolproof either! Something is always swapped, doesn’t fit, or is missing. But I don’t want to spoil anyone’s excitement. As an Ikea fan, I’ve now replaced almost all the furniture with higher-quality, more customized pieces; the rest will be scrapped.

Bought, picked up, assembled, moved with the kitchen, reconfigured and expanded, used for six years, and then sold again for half the original price.

I have experience with this, but to be fair, it’s better not to have two left hands. The number of boxes is quite impressive, also in terms of weight.
I take it as a challenge; my only own contribution will be the kitchen.
