Hello!

In our bathroom, I’m planning to install two vessel sinks on a countertop. Now I’m just looking for a suitable faucet. To match the freestanding bathtub’s deck-mounted faucet, I would like something with a similar design (for example, like a Grohe Cosmopolitan, which has a gently curved shape).

The problem with most faucets is the handle. When the faucet is installed centrally behind the sink bowl, it’s difficult to reach the handle properly, or the handle hits the sink — at least that’s what I think.

So far, I’ve only found one faucet (a no-name brand) where the handle is positioned higher up, but its spout reach is too short. I don’t really want wall-mounted faucets because I don’t feel confident installing them myself. Also, professional installation would be too expensive, and it’s too inflexible if I want to change the sink bowl later and the height no longer fits.

Does anyone here possibly know of a similar faucet designed specifically for installation behind vessel sinks?

Good luck,

Unfortunately, I do not know what curved washbasins are.

@Daniel87 would you like to tell us which sink you have? That would make it easier to help you.

So especially with this curved basin, I can easily imagine matching faucets installed on the side.

The sink looks nice.
Maybe there is one with a sensor automatic feature?

I’ve just gone ahead and ordered the sink and faucet because I need to see them in person.

I also considered a sensor faucet, but then you only get lukewarm water all the time.

EDIT: Ah.. since there’s an expert here.. @Neige: The countertop is supposed to be solid wood. Oak glued laminated board with continuous strips. Should I oil or lacquer it?
