Hello,
We bought our house, built in 1970, seven years ago.
It was repainted when we purchased it.
I have noticed the following cracks.
Is it okay to leave them as they are? They don’t bother me. Or do they definitely need to be repaired?
If so, how should this be done?

Would it make sense to remove the plaster in that area to check if the crack continues underneath?

So, I just checked the garage. You have to look closely to find the cracks when the sunlight hits them, they're that small. I would estimate about 1-2 mm (0.04-0.08 inches). Just barely visible on the plaster. So, these should be negligible, right?

Here is a close-up image.
Does this help to assess it better?

Cream-colored wall at the top, blue area at the bottom; texture, central crack, metal strip at the floor.

Tap on the cracks to check if there are any hollow spaces underneath.

We have an external thermal insulation composite system underneath, and I believe there is polystyrene insulation.

In any case, when I tap on the facade with my hand, the whole surface sounds hollow.

I looked it up, and if I understand correctly, this is called ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system), and is it normal for it to sound hollow here?

Is this a prefabricated house? I'm having trouble explaining the vertical cracks.

I looked through the documents. It’s a solid timber-framed house. That’s what was stated in the real estate listing.
