Hello everyone,
on my house, the exterior window sill overhang was installed with different lengths: some are 10cm (4 inches), 5cm (2 inches), or 4cm (1.5 inches).
The window sills are made of aluminum.
The site manager says this is normal. Only the interior window sill can be aligned evenly.

What do you think about this?
Thanks for your answers.

That is obviously nonsense. They are ordered exactly so that they fit perfectly in the end.

Today, I measured the distance between the window and the facade. This distance is almost everywhere about 10cm (4 inches).
The distance from the facade to the outer edge of the window sill varies.

Where does this difference come from?

I will take some pictures in a couple of days.
Thank you for your opinions and Happy New Year.

Some idiot ordered the wrong window sills and confidently installed them, assuming the circumstances described by superzapp are correct.

Aluminum exterior window sills can be ordered and installed for each individual window with the desired depth and width – therefore, the oversight was due to insufficient execution planning.

You must send this by registered mail to Isernhagen, including a deadline! As far as I know, you have an expert you can ask. I think the window sills need to be removed and reinstalled. A window sill defect with the same contractor cost us about 2.5 years and an evidence preservation procedure. Better be the aggressive dog that gets thrown one more bone!

Best regards
