ᐅ Outdoor sensor connection cable – Is this installed by the electrician?

Hello,

I am currently renovating an old small multi-family house (4 residential units). The new heating system is already installed and running. Recently, the heating technician wanted to install the outdoor sensor and asked me where the electrician had installed the cable for the outdoor sensor. I was confused and asked him why the electrician should do that. He said that the electrician has to install the power supply, the cables for the room controls, and the cables for the outdoor sensors. Of course, the electrician didn’t know anything about this, and now the cable has to be installed retroactively as well (however, the cables for the room controllers were installed by the electrician).

Question: Is it usually correct that the installation of the outdoor sensor cable must be done by the electrician? Or is the heating technician just trying to avoid responsibility here?

Best regards

As far as I know, additional training can also be provided for heating installers regarding the standard wiring of heating systems.
