Hello, we are looking for an independent construction supervisor who works in West Brandenburg.
Would it be better to hire someone from Derka or a freelancer?

We are building a single-family house with a smaller company.

Have you heard of the Bauherren-Schutzbund?
They offer lawyers at fixed prices for reviewing construction specifications/contracts and provide construction supervisors.
We are also members and very satisfied with our construction supervisor (North Berlin).

* Review of the contract and the scope of work description for potential pitfalls in the area of prefab house construction before signing a construction contract
* Supervision of the construction and inspections during the building phase, as well as interim and final acceptance(s)

Question 1) Are there specific recommendations for the postal code area 15…?
Question 2) How does the building owners' protection association mentioned here work, for example? Do I need to become a member (for a fee) and then can access suitable experts accordingly (also for corresponding costs depending on the service)?

From my perspective, these are two separate tasks: a lawyer is better suited for the first, and for the second, you need a technical expert. In postal code area 15, I’ll tag @Tom1978 in the thread for you ;-)

The mentioned association has an online map with the experts.
Look for one nearby (short distances, quick availability) the construction site, call them, and arrange an appointment with you.
You can discuss everything else in person.
We purchased contract reviews and construction supervision services (all together about 3,000 euros).
