Hello,
I am at the beginning of the planning phase and considering whether to build the exterior wall with hollow bricks or Poroton blocks. At this point, I would be interested to know what you have chosen and what your reasons were.
Thank you for your input.

Use filled Poroton blocks, and everything will be fine.

It doesn’t matter. Both have their own justification.

I am not saying that one of them would be unnecessary. I also know that in the end everything will be fine and all tears will be dried.
My question is directed at homeowners who faced the same choice and why they decided on a particular type of masonry?

Sand-lime bricks because I like them and prefer truly solid construction. So, what now?

Unfilled is useless because of sound insulation. External thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) is used for plaster and installation.

That’s why filled brick. The best of all.
