Appel200031 May 2021 16:47Hello everyone,
The exterior plastering will be coming up soon.
The plasterer has now offered a dispersion-based render.
He personally prefers it because
a) the color is integrated directly
b) it is supposed to crack less
So, a question for the experts and homeowners who have already dealt with this topic:
Would you agree with these two points?
Is it really true that this type of render does not need to be painted afterward?
What drawbacks does dispersion-based render have?
Thanks for your opinions!

When I recently requested a quote for the exterior design of our house, I was told that a white exterior plaster is generally applied first and then painted over, as otherwise there is a risk of visible color inconsistencies.

Since we want white or a very light gray anyway, the dispersion plaster (in the corresponding color) would be completely sufficient.
But as I said, I am still basically considering and gathering information on whether to choose dispersion or mineral plaster...
