Hello! I am currently preparing the technical review before the building permit / planning permission drawings are created, and I noticed the following in the initial draft:
The ETICS (external thermal insulation composite system) is dimensioned as 19 cm (7.5 inches) in the plan, and the wall (sand-lime brick) is 17.5 cm (7 inches).
However, the ETICS dimension is incorrect; it is actually only 18 cm (7 inches). The exterior dimension of the house corresponds to the shell dimension specified in the contract documents. In my opinion, the rendering (neither interior nor exterior) should be included in the shell dimensions on a plan. In other words, it seems that 2 cm (about 0.8 inches) have been “taken off” because the exterior rendering should be added outside the shell dimension. Is this correct?
