Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for your opinions or experiences. Two house corners look like this (see photos).
Is this a defect...? A mistake...? Or is this normal?

Corner area of two painted plaster walls: left dark gray, right light gray, floor visible.

Two vertical plaster walls forming a corner; left blue-gray, right light gray/white, floor with mats.

Corner of a white-gray, rough exterior wall with dark base; floor with construction debris.

Two walls: left light, roughly textured wall and right dark wall with a shadow line in the middle.

Exterior wall corner: light left plaster surface next to dark right wall; construction site equipment below.

Close-up of a roughly textured light gray exterior wall; right dark stone wall with soil.

Construction site photo: white wall on the left, dark stone wall on the right, soil, gravel, pipe in front.

Layperson’s opinion: it is a defect, it does not look nice. What it could be... I am curious to see further responses... I have no idea.

The insulation system is under the plaster, right? They did a sloppy job on the corners. The unevenness of the insulation should actually be evened out by the base coat.

Why the plasterer accepted this is a mystery to me. I was on site all day during the plastering (at least during the finish coat) and I can tell you, this kind of issue is immediately noticeable while plastering.

Also, your plaster is really dirty.

Why do I think we’ll soon hear that it’s one of the low-cost builders like Heinz von Heiden or Town & Country...

Anyway, it is a defect and should be reported in writing. It really looks bad and needs to be fixed. I wouldn’t accept it like this.

It is a prefabricated house from Bien-Zenker. I am doing the interior work myself, so unfortunately I did not notice it immediately.

We have a house from B.O.S. (formerly a subsidiary of Bien-Zenker) and it looks exactly the same. The house has been standing for 13 years, and the plaster is not affected.
