Hello everyone,

We are currently building a house using solid construction (Porit aerated concrete). Starting tomorrow, the interior plastering will begin.
Now, an acquaintance mentioned that the exterior plastering must be done at the same time or shortly after the interior plastering. This is supposedly necessary because of diffusion properties of this type of stone. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any information on this. Is this statement correct?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Aerated concrete absorbs water when it rains. That is why external protection is so important. If you plaster the interior, you really shouldn’t wait too long to seal the exterior. Otherwise, the interior plaster may start to crumble again.

Thank you, that makes sense. I need to keep that in mind.
