Hello everyone,
I’m glad I found this forum :-)
I have the following “problem”: we converted a single-family house into a two-family house (separating the ground floor and upper floor). For this, we created a new entrance on the garage (flat roof) and initially installed a temporary construction staircase. However, I’m not very happy with this solution. I would prefer to build a proper staircase into the garage (the garage is only used for storing tools) and install a small glass extension on the garage roof.
The problem is that the garage is built right on the property boundary, and with the extension, I would be less than 3 meters (about 10 feet) away from the boundary! Without this extension, rain would get into the garage, so that’s not an option either…
Does anyone here have a good idea?
Thanks in advance
Best regards,
Sebastian
