Hello everyone,
Our house is currently in the shell construction phase. The windows have been installed, and the electrician has finished chasing and drilling the walls and is now attaching the flush-mounted boxes.
I noticed that the connection cable for the roller shutter at one window seems to be broken. It is much shorter than the others, and a box was drilled just below the ceiling next to the roller shutter. (This is not the case at the other windows.) It is likely meant to be a flush-mounted box where the cable will be extended.
Now my question:
Do I have a chance to claim this as a defect with the builder?
I don’t want a box next to the window (because of the curtain rod), and besides that, every additional connection point is another potential source of failure.
After all, I am paying for an intact motor with a complete cable.
Ideally, I would prefer a replacement of the motor and thus a new connection cable that runs directly to the switch next to the window.
What do you think?

No defects present. A connection using flush-mounted boxes at the control panel is actually more advantageous.
For example, this allows for a much quicker replacement of a faulty motor...
I would even recommend the opposite approach (and did so in my case), meaning a flush-mounted box for each motor and sometimes even one on the left and right side. This makes many things much easier later on.
