ᐅ Experiences with Shed Roof Designs?

Hello,

I have a question about our roof. We are planning the following roof style and are unsure whether it is allowed to be built like this in the new development area.

Excerpt from the development plan of the new neighborhood:

I was told by the developer that it is a shed roof and these are only permitted with a 7–17° pitch, but my planned roof resembles more of a gable roof. Could someone please clarify this for me?

Hello herbert,

this is a staggered shed roof. However, it is up to your builder to clarify with the building authority whether this is classified as a gable roof.
