Hello,
We are currently still searching for a plot of land in the Ulm area and are in the decision-making phase about whether to build a prefabricated house or a solid construction house.
Does anyone have experience with the prefabricated house manufacturers Schwörerhaus, Bien-Zenker, Lehner, Kampa, Steif, or others?
We recently visited the Schwörerhaus headquarters in Hohenstein-Oberstetten and were quite surprised when we saw the prices for their display homes – 140 m² (1,507 sq ft) with a basic basement, KfW 55 standard – around 300,000€ (turnkey). Is this price normal (then we need to recalculate), or is Schwörerhaus just very expensive?
Of course, Schwörerhaus is mostly known for very positive reviews, but what about the other prefabricated house manufacturers?
We would appreciate some current feedback and experiences.
Best regards,
Ulmerle

That just shows it again: two people, three opinions.
I know two homeowners (private friends for over 10 years) who built with Allkauf Haus. One is a carpenter and the other an interior decorator. Both were impressed by the quality of Allkauf Haus.
Which online reviews are you referring to?
P.S.: And if you build turnkey with them, they are not much cheaper than other providers.

Rottenburg14 Dec 2018 19:03I have the impression that many prefabricated house companies write their own 5-star reviews.
I built with Schwörerhaus and can only recommend that everyone reads the negative experiences—rather than the fake positive "Oh, how great" reviews.
I have never been treated as condescendingly as I was by them—there is definitely no “customer is king” attitude.
Well, I don’t want to go on here... I just want to warn against trusting positive reviews in forums and against fake videos on YouTube with strange forum users who only write good things in the comments.

Rottenburg14 Dec 2018 19:16And one more thing... turnkey, writes Ulmerle..
I also got turnkey... only no one mentions that there is no front stairs. Local contractors don’t want to send an excavator over something like that.
Screed in the basement, not included.
But doors installed. Screed installer says the risk is high... best to remove the doors.
Turnkey means almost finished...
at least with my Schwörer house.
Garage neither insulated inside, nor cladded, nor is the floor done, nor are door openings straight... Door installer says, that’s a 2cm (0.8 inch) slope... what am I supposed to do?
So a tip:
Ask right away how you will access the house. I need a ladder to reach the front door at 1.80m (5 ft 11 in) height.
Ask about screed in the basement.
That’s about 6000.- that Schwörer house saved there.
Then, the locking system... Do you want one key for basement, house, apartment, and garage? Not with Schwörer house. Costs about 2000.- extra afterwards.
Antenna sockets? No, not with Schwörer house. Extra cost.
Considering the extremely high price, as a customer you feel completely ripped off.
