Hello everyone,

we are currently in the consultation and quotation process with Kuechenheld.

Has anyone here had any experience with an online-only kitchen studio?

How does the price level compare to a traditional kitchen showroom? How satisfied were you with the consultation, handling, and implementation?

It's still very general 😉 .. You can only really compare plans in detail. (Cabinet height, grid layout, drawer design, stringer design, etc.), so just a "number" of meters doesn't really say anything 😉.

Yep. But the floor plan was almost always the same. Something like this.

Kitchen from bird’s-eye view: island, bar stools, sink under window, stove, white cabinets, wooden floor.

Modern kitchen: black Samsung refrigerator, oven, white cabinets, wooden countertop

Kitchen layout from above: wooden floor, white cabinets, island with bar stools, cooktop and sink.

Bird’s-eye view of a modern kitchen with wooden floor, L-shaped island, stove and built-in appliances.

Hmm... ergonomically, this kitchen would not work for me. The main work surface between the sink and cooktop always has your back to what is presumably the open space behind the G-shaped peninsula, which raises questions for me about the open-plan concept. The entire layout appears to include at least two 125cm x 60cm (49 inches x 24 inches) corner base cabinets with unspecified interiors. The cabinet height is not clear either, but it seems to be either a handleless design drawn without detail or an unspecified 5-drawer unit. Sorry.

It’s not really an open kitchen, but as you said, semi-open. So that’s correct :-)

That was just the rough plan; I couldn’t find the finalized version anymore. Everything was very well thought out. We viewed everything in person.

The good thing about kitchens is that you won’t find one that meets 100% of your preferences. It just has to please the client :-)

Hello everyone,

Here is a brief interim report. Although we had initially decided on Küchenhelden, we will now purchase the kitchen from a local kitchen studio.

It turned out that the Küchenhelden offer was incomplete. For example, a recirculation starter kit for the induction cooktop with downdraft extractor was missing. In addition, the countertop for the kitchen cabinets was planned to be almost 1 m² (11 sq ft) too small. This increased the price by about 1,000 EUR, so after tough negotiations, the local kitchen studios were clearly cheaper in the end.

Facts and figures:

- 6.40 m (21 ft) Häcker Systemat (2 x 3.20 m / 10 ft), 0.78 m (31 in) base cabinets for the kitchen island with drawers including 2 internal pull-outs
- Oversized side panel ("floating" countertop and panel)
- 2.00 m (6.5 ft) Häcker Systemat, 0.78 m (31 in) base cabinets and wall cabinets for the kitchen line with drawers and 1 internal pull-out
- 2.60 m (8.5 ft) Häcker Systemat tall cabinets for the kitchen line with drawers
- 3x Häcker Move solid cutlery trays
- 20 mm (0.8 in) ceramic countertop (1x 0.75 x 2.00 m / 2.5 x 6.5 ft; 1x 1.40 x 3.20 m / 4.5 x 10 ft)
- Siemens iQ 500 induction cooktop with downdraft extractor and recirculation starter kit
- Siemens iQ 700 fridge-freezer combination
- Miele H2860B oven (3 full-extension drawers)
- Miele G5050 viClean dishwasher
- Franke under-mount sink Kubus KBG160 Fragranit+
- Franke faucet Active Plus
- Double power outlet in ceramic countertop of the kitchen island
- Including cutouts, delivery, and installation

Küchenhelden: 25,800 EUR
Local kitchen studio (with own joinery): 24,500 EUR
Local kitchen studio (chain affiliated): 23,500 EUR

So Küchenhelden are out mainly due to the incomplete offer. Price was the final knockout criterion.

Now the choice will be between the two local kitchen studios. Stay tuned 😉

We already discussed this regarding the house.
@kbt09 did not form a layperson’s opinion based on liking or appearance but criticized the ergonomics with professional expertise.

Was or is?
I can only remind you once again to distinguish between subjective opinions and objective facts – even if it’s uncomfortable to be in the position of the “listener.”
I can’t say anything about the grid because the screenshots might distort the view.
However, I can say from experience that a room layout tends to have a negative effect when furniture is taller than it is wide, unless this is deliberately intentionally designed.
Here, I would definitely make sure that the upper wall cabinets do not feel overwhelming.
