kdupkeAre there actually true wall cabinets for Metod, or only a 40cm (16 inches) upper cabinet that can be stacked on a 200cm (79 inches) tall cabinet to reach 240cm (94 inches)?
Has anyone ever installed such a 40cm (16 inches) cabinet on top of the tall cabinet without the bottom panel? Or tried it and decided against it?
Regards, Kai

I have one that is 60cm wide (60cm deep) and another that is 40cm wide (40cm deep because of pipes behind). They are placed directly next to each other.
I’m on night shift today and will upload a photo later.

It looks good and there were no problems. However, I always secure all cabinet boxes additionally from the side with furniture screws (attaching the units on top to the cabinet below). This gives extra stability and keeps everything perfectly aligned.
