Hello everyone,
Does anyone have experience with the "Delta Max BL Plug" wallbox, or know someone who has or is familiar with a Delta wallbox?
I received an offer and we are considering buying it. Previously, we were offered one from ABL, which we would have preferred because it was rated very well by ADAC, but it currently has a very long delivery time. The one from Delta would be available soon.
The offer is for about 1300€ including installation.
Do you think that is a reasonable price for a wallbox?

Fortunately, we are still covered by Progres.NRW with up to 2500 EUR (about 2700 USD) per charging point and no power limitations. The payout is still pending, and the electric car is yet to arrive... Yes, we still park the gasoline car next to the wallbox. 🙄
We would both like to have electric cars, but at the moment, I can’t find an economical way to switch. We have two small gasoline cars and actually only need one car now, but even that is used so rarely that buying a relatively new electric vehicle would be totally uneconomical. We don’t even reach 5000 km (3100 miles) per year.
On the other hand, both of our cars are getting too small; the Audi A1 is currently our "large family car," which has always been a bit of a puzzle when we travel. And my husband would like a Tesla (so would I), and I would love to finally hit the triple jackpot, then we’d just buy one. ^^

Have you done the math? We’re just waiting for the lease on our big one to end, then the new car can take its place.B

Then you could quickly rack up a lot of kilometers.
I would decide on that first before choosing a car.
PS: Tesla is really fascinating. From our office, I have a view of a newly opened Tesla dealership. Over the past two weeks, they’ve delivered hundreds of Teslas by truck right to their doors and processed them just as fast. Pickups were organized every minute. They apparently have six minutes for the delivery; everything else is done online.

Then the kilometers (miles) could add up very quickly.
I would decide on that topic first before choosing a car. Yeah, we’re putting the car issue on hold for now. The current situation is still manageable.

My sister has a Model 3. Before Christmas, we drove to the supermarket together. Once we left town, she pressed the accelerator—and if you’re not used to it, it pushes you into the seat like a rollercoaster ride. 😱
