The question might be a bit specific, but maybe someone has this exact bathtub?

After countless hours of research, we find this manufacturer and model appealing. From the pictures, it looks like it would be comfortable to lie in. We are probably considering the 180x80 cm (71x31.5 inches) size.

Does anyone have any experience with this manufacturer or perhaps even with this bathtub?

So, we tested all the bathtubs displayed at the bathroom showroom. I’m not sure if Kaldewei was among them.

For me, all the “double bathtubs” were uncomfortable for lying down alone; you really couldn’t lie in them properly because the slopes were all too steep. That’s why we decided on Bette, as we prefer showering together rather than bathing together.

Are the double bathtubs equally comfortable for lying down? I mean, can you rest your back fully against the slope when you’re alone in the tub?

Yes, at least with the Kaldewei Duo, this is the case – I also find the type of tubs like the one peanut74 has very uncomfortable, as you can lean against them but cannot fully lie down due to the absence of a slope.

Sebastian, are you referring to the Conoduo? They all have "Duo" in their names anyway....

Yes, exactly – that’s the one I mean. At first, the bathroom supplier had the Classic Duo installed – it has those steep backrests, which we didn't like...

If this is the "Conoduo," then I still find the backrests look steep... I don’t want to sit upright in the tub, but rather lie down comfortably.

??? What do you mean? The Vaio Duo actually has two slopes???
