Good morning dear homebuilding community,
Our city villa (9x12 meters (30x39 feet)) is now fitted with windows, so the rough-in installation can begin 😉

Regarding the heating:
The plumbing company has selected a 12 kW heating unit from Weihaupt for us...
It seems very large, or even too big, for 260 m² (2800 sq ft) – partly because of the Zehnder ventilation system with heat recovery (450) and underfloor heating...

What do you think? Besides a heat load calculation, which the plumbing company does not perform, what other information is needed?!
Is there anyone who has experience with a similar air-water heat pump?

PS: Practical advice regarding noise levels is also welcome 🙂)

Best regards
Hessy-J.

Heat load calculation is the correct keyword. It is essential; otherwise, the heating technician will choose the wrong equipment size, and it will become uneconomical for you. The motto should not just be “as long as it’s warm.”
