Good morning everyone.
We have received an offer from the general contractor that includes an additional cost for a brine ground source heat pump. The manufacturer is ERW Wärmepumpentechnik from Wadersloh (between Beckum and Lippstadt).
Does anyone have experience with this company and their heat pumps?
Thank you in advance!

Not recommended!!
We have had an ERW heat pump with 10.80 kW for 4 years. Power hog: annual consumption around 7000 kWh. Ground floor 86 sqm (925 sq ft) at 22°C (72°F), basement 70 sqm (753 sq ft) averaging 17°C (63°F).
No instruction provided at installation. When I raised concerns about the high electricity costs by phone with the company, the response was: this is normal for a new build in the first year, and I should adjust the settings myself.
The consumption has not changed to this day.
Now there is a leaking compression fitting, and the pressure gauge shows 1.0 bar. Customer service and contacts are unreachable.
Additionally, I have been trying for years to find a heating company that can perform a hydraulic balancing and adjust the heating curve, etc., but all have refused.
My own attempts to properly adjust the heating system have been unsuccessful.
Does anyone have advice?
Thanks for any replies.

Hello everyone!
Unfortunately, we had nothing but trouble with this company. After installation, it took four attempts and three different technicians to make the necessary adjustments so that the heat pump would run with only minor issues. In between, we faced endless waiting times.
But after just 5 years, the first circulation pump broke down. We had long, frustrating phone calls because nobody wanted to come immediately for such a "minor issue"; instead, we were told to wait until a technician was nearby. And this happened in winter, with two small children, on a Thursday. There was a lot of back and forth over the phone. The result: someone came on Friday, and we had to pay almost €750, even though the invoice showed €110 for the pump itself. The rest was for the technician's travel costs and one hour of work. Outrageous!
After 9 years, the same game again. The heat pump broke down again—once more at the start of winter. This manufacturer refuses to take responsibility for their product and is absolutely unhelpful and unwilling to find a solution. Other refrigeration technicians nearby won’t work on the heat pump either, as they "do not want to take responsibility for such shoddy work" (quote from two refrigeration technicians after inspecting the system). We have been without heating here for 8 days and got this advice over the phone: "I don’t understand you. It’s not even that cold outside yet, and a portable heater only costs €20." Phone calls are simply ended abruptly, and the contact person disappears to avoid talking.
Really outrageous.
Stay away from this company. They are happy to take your money for a new unit, but when problems arise, you get no help. Instead, you are treated rudely and dismissively.

But in the end, there is only one thing to say: STAY AWAY from ERW!!!!
Only trouble, no support, many cold nights, and in the end, you end up paying for it!
