Hello everyone,

while reviewing the offers for plumbing and heating, we came across the reversible heat pump CTA Aeroheat CN HT.

Since the Swiss manufacturer is completely unknown to me, but our architect has had exclusively positive experiences with it for many years, I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience reports.

Does any of you have devices from this company in use or are familiar with them?

How many systems has the architect actually observed during multi-year operation? Once the house is completed, they usually never hear about the system again. In case of malfunctions, they certainly won’t be called. It’s best to ask what advantages and disadvantages the systems have compared to other well-known manufacturers; that way, you can quickly gauge how well-informed they really are...

CTA units are good. We also have one installed. It has been running without any issues for 11 years. CTA is one of the leading manufacturers here in Switzerland. Definitely not a bad choice.

Edit: I need to clarify that we have a ground source heat pump. The one you mentioned is an air source heat pump.
CTA is a family-owned company in our region, so it is probably better known here in Switzerland. Small doesn’t have to mean bad.
