I am having a garage built, and so far everything is fine. The only thing bothering me is that there is a gap of about 3.5 cm to 4.0 cm (1.4 inches to 1.6 inches) between the bottom of two garage doors and the floor. These are multi-purpose doors from the company Novoferm, model MZ-1. The builder is installing them. The floor will only receive a coating (liquid plastic). The builder tells me that this gap is specified by the manufacturer. However, I can hardly believe that such a large gap is intended. Does anyone have experience with this? Can anyone help?
