Hello!

I read somewhere that it is allowed to run the flue pipe of a gas boiler through an exterior wall... is that correct?
I mean that instead of installing a chimney or creating a roof penetration, the exhaust gases are simply channeled sideways through the outer wall with a pipe.
On the outside, there would then be a vent cap or terminal.

That was something else.
Ask your chimney sweep about that.

Hello

This is no longer allowed for new installations.
However, you can route the exhaust flue through the exterior wall and then continue it upwards.
