Excavation will begin soon at our site.
We need to dispose of about 350m3 (460 cubic yards) of soil. Does anyone have any advice on where to take it or companies that offer affordable pickup and disposal?
My cheapest quote so far is $13.30 per ton.
Our general contractor will handle the excavation, with the excavator loading directly onto trucks, which I will need to arrange.

Hi,
is the €13.30 gross or net? Gross is probably almost the lowest possible price. I have offers here ranging from €12.50 up to €17 (gross).

I found the cheapest by searching for sand pits on Google Maps. They were not listed in the phone book...
It’s probably enough to search within a maximum of 15 meters (9 miles) around your construction site. Otherwise, the transportation costs get too high.

Best regards,

Andreas

If necessary, you can also ask the structural builder. They’re not doing this for the first time either and might know a few more pits. If they are fair, they will simply pass on the invoice without adding any extra charges.

Best regards,

Andreas

Hello andiman.
The 13.20 meters (43 feet) are gross measurements.
