Hello everyone,

After several inquiries and offers, I now have what I consider the most cost-effective offer (see details below). I am still unsure about the "necessity" of the battery storage. I believe there is no clear "yes" or "no" answer here.

Based on your experience and what is known so far, is the payback of the battery storage guaranteed within the warranty period? I don’t think the battery will make you rich or poor, but you can make the most sensible decision now.

How do you evaluate the offer and the components in general? Does anyone perhaps have a comparable system and experience to share?

If you can install the hooks for the mounting during the roof construction, it saves a lot of work.

It is planned to be done by the same person. So roofing and photovoltaic installation.

But you should find an electrician beforehand who is authorized by the grid operator. You definitely need them for the final inspection notification to the utility company. I doubt anyone who didn’t install the system would handle this.

Thanks for the tip, I will check on that. However, the person carrying out the work has done this before, so there will surely be a solution 🙂

Hello everyone,

Based on your feedback, we have revised our system once again. The battery storage has been removed, there are slightly different modules due to delivery issues, and the system has become significantly larger:

39 instead of 28 modules (1.5° instead of IBC)
Larger inverter (SMA Sunny Tripower instead of Sungrow Hybrid)

What do you think? Does it look good now?

Two SMA devices: Sunny Tripower X 15 inverter and Sunny Home Manager 2.0 (product page)

I would not replace the hybrid inverter in case a battery storage system is added later.

The system probably grew too large for that; the inverters that also support storage supposedly can't handle it. At least not the offered inverter. You would need two anyway.

Hello,

So, is everyone okay with the system and also the "new" components? If so, I would probably go ahead and order it that way 🙂

Good luck

Just the question of why there is still one corner left empty?
