I am currently working on the renovation of an old building together with an architect. At the moment, we are still in the preliminary planning phase of the floor plans.
The house is very old and has been extended in several places over the past century. The goal is to completely renovate the house.
Household for four people (man, woman, two children). My wife and I both work a lot from home.
What could be improved? What are your opinions?

Which windows are currently installed or possibly already created and redesigned by the architect cannot be determined due to lack of information. This applies to all walls and openings.
First, I would remove the second kitchen, as it is unnecessary and makes the main kitchen less functional.
In the bathroom on the upper floor, I would remove the privacy wall so that the sink receives some natural light and there is usable counter space.
The same applies to the bathroom in the attic. The dream of every homeowner is not so much the view of the stars, but rather some peace and calm with closed eyes 😉
For the dressing area, I would create wardrobe space under the sloped ceiling instead of having it in the middle of the room where it interferes.
