For our new build, a white, 3mm (1/8 inch) thin-layer plaster is specified as the exterior render in the contract.
Is an additional leveling coat required or advisable here?
Thanks and best regards!

Yes. Although the plaster is white, it won’t stay that way for long and will quickly get dirty. A coating with silicone resin paint works wonders here. Water beads off, dirt doesn’t stick, and the white, in our case RAL 9016, is truly white and not grayish. Apply this coating on top. It’s definitely beneficial.
