Hello, a ceiling in a steam room was constructed using the following layers:
- Aquapanel board installed without joints
- Aquapanel joint compound
- Primalon PM 200
- Disbopox W447 2-component universal resin

The coating shows some cracks and adhesion issues.
Does anyone have suggestions for repairs or materials suitable for refinishing or for a new layer buildup?

Best regards, Philipp

According to the datasheet, the universal resin is approved only for mineral surfaces, not for glass fiber (GF) boards. Cracking may occur at the joints of the GF boards if it is not possible to integrate a joint cover or reinforcement strip into the joint filler. In addition, the fiberglass mesh listed by the universal resin manufacturer should possibly have been used.
