Hello,
Is it also possible, when using a gas boiler, to achieve the "alternative" energy through heat recovery in a central ventilation system, or does it have to be solar energy?
Thank you

I mean the solar heating is only for water – and I read that you use about 1000 liters of water per person per year Your domestic hot water consumption is higher. About 120 liters (30 gallons) per person per day. However, you are right in that not all water is consumed at that temperature,The washing machine and the dishwasher use cold water. The coffee machine does too. Quickly washing hands, cold water. Brushing teeth, cold water as well. So, hot water is definitely limited. How much hot water does a shower use? Let’s say a man showers for three minutes, a woman for 4.5 minutes? No idea. Karsten

Hi,
personally, I find a ventilation system with heat recovery more practical.
It’s an investment that can pay off throughout the year.
Solar is only usable on sunny days and also requires a significant investment.
Is gas your heating source?
Yes, gas is the heating source – my idea was that I had currently budgeted for a controlled ventilation system because of the roller shutters. If I skip the solar panels, the cost almost directly balances out with an upgrade to a ventilation system with heat recovery (PLUGGIT).
The only downside is these grills in the floor. On the ceiling, it would be even more expensive.

readytorumble29 Oct 2017 20:53I recommend installing a ventilation system with heat recovery. We lived for the first 8 weeks without ventilation, so I can repeatedly emphasize the incredible improvement in comfort. By the way, we also have a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery from pluggit.
I believe heat recovery ventilation is mandatory if you want to meet the renewable energy share requirements according to the energy-saving regulations. I’m not yet fully convinced about a one-to-one system. As far as I know, a solar system is clearly more cost-effective than this mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.
Since you should use a forced ventilation system with a fan motor and trickle vents with adjustable air in the window frame as a basic setup, add 2000.
